a bit of snow and silver !!!

~

Hi there,

I hope you are enjoying your day so far!

~

Today is the third installment of

Silver Sunday

Take some time to visit and you will not be sorry.

All of the lovely participants have

some gorgeous treasures to share.

Beth has added a Mr. Linky

as the list of those who want to share

is huge and this way, everyone can join the fun.

My poor Hydrangea covered in snow...

...oh how I long for the Spring thaw

and the blooms to re-appear

I think I love the vibrant color of this Ivy now

so much better than when it is just green in the summer

One of our many birdhouses

waiting for the snow to melt

and a family to move in

I bought this silver lantern many years ago

and actually forgot about it

as it sit's at the top our landing.

I love the dents and the oil spill

running down the side.

I guess, I really prefer the timeworn silver

to the polished new,

although it all warms my heart...

The picture is of my DL's Mommy

taken many years ago,

it sits in this pretty frame also on the landing

Is this the most awesome silver

bits necklace you have ever seen.

Take a peak at Lemoncoly's Flight of Fancy blog

to see more of Kecia's amazing work.

Whimsical and fun,

she teaches classes all over

and you can sign up here

or you can purchase

many other goodies as well

~

I also wanted to mention that I will be participating in the 'One World One Heart' Giveaway event beginning January 25th and you can fly the magic carpet until February 15, 2010. There are hundreds of giveaways that will be posted on January 25th....come along for the ride...you will meet some interesting folks and maybe, you'll even win a goodie or two. More on this later....

~

Have a fabulous day everyone!!

  21. I love your old silver lamp and it looks so pretty next to the pretty silver frame. I also love the old photo in the frame. It's the perfect frame for that photo. It looks cold at your house. We've had an unseasonably warm winter, but are finally getting a little rain which is needed here in So. Cal.

  22. Hi Nerina!

How have you been? I've been a very poor blogger lately........sorry I haven't been here to visit.

I love your lantern too! I used to HATE things that weren't perfect, but I've come to ADORE little imperfections.....especially repaired items. It's so sweet to see something that was so loved that they took the time to try to give it a longer life. How special.

Thanks for the giveaway heads-up.......I think I'll be participating in that one. It's perfect timing, really.....it will fall right on my one year blogaversary. :)

    Hugs!
    Spencer
