  8. What beautiful images! I never took ballet as a child. I waited until I was in college and took ballet and modern dance. For a time, a very small time, I thought of changing my major to dance. I never took toe, never advanced that far. I think what I liked most was the tutus! Sad, but true. It's kind of the same reason I always wanted to be a cheerleader (and never was) and that was the short. pleated skirts. Do you see a theme here? So, today I just wear short skirts and even the occasional tutu! Problem solved!

    Happy Pink Saturday!

    Hugs,
    Tamerie

  22. Oh, Nerina, this is the best! Love that beautifully done flyer/announcement on the pole. You have a terrific eye and the way you put this post together is like paging through a lovely book. In fact, you should publish this as a book. I'd buy a copy!

  30. Stunning! I have always been fascinated with the whole ballet mystique. They make everything look so beautiful when it is extremely hard and I suspect a grueling profession. The pictures you found are amazing. Thanks for sharing these special pink pictures and I hope you have some pink in your life the whole week through!

  31. This a beautiful collection of ballet fotos, my favourites are the ones that hint at the gritty toughness required to pull it off, all the while appearing graceful ...
