Such a wonderful post Nerina! Being a ballerina is every girls dream :)
I am trying to finish up your gift for the Summer Swap :) I sure am hoping for nice weather over the weekend. All it's done all week is rain. I so would love to move outside into the nice warm sun. Who wouldn't???
Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend!
What beautiful images! I never took ballet as a child. I waited until I was in college and took ballet and modern dance. For a time, a very small time, I thought of changing my major to dance. I never took toe, never advanced that far. I think what I liked most was the tutus! Sad, but true. It's kind of the same reason I always wanted to be a cheerleader (and never was) and that was the short. pleated skirts. Do you see a theme here? So, today I just wear short skirts and even the occasional tutu! Problem solved!
Hello Nerina... how beautiful these photos are... I was a ballerina when I was a little girl, but was in a bad accident and had to stop taking lessons... oh how I wish I had begun them again when I healed... I bet you are a gorgeous ballerina... xoxo Julie Marie
This is a lovely and inspiring post for P.S. Thank you so much for making my heart go pitter patter like a little girl. Thank you also for your visit for P.S.
Wonderful eye candy! I too studied ballet as a child but it all seems lost on me now unfortunately! But I do still love watching it - such skill, dedication and poise!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend & many thanks for stopping by. So with you about aliens - at my bank, at the IRS, Oooh! everywhere!
How inspired! Now where are those pink toe shoes I bought at the thrift store 10 years ago???Irrefutable PROOF that we should never throw anything away... ~A fellow Maniac :)
Hey BFF! I love your pink saturdays! I know you love ballet, this is awesome!!!!!!!! Did you ever frame your beautiful stitching piece? That was amazing. Thank you, btw, for all the sweet comments you left for me! love u, deb xOxO
I loved the picture of all the pink ballet shoes. Such talent to be able to do ballet! Please come by for a visit soon and make a new Pink Saturday friend.
Oh, Nerina, this is the best! Love that beautifully done flyer/announcement on the pole. You have a terrific eye and the way you put this post together is like paging through a lovely book. In fact, you should publish this as a book. I'd buy a copy! Thanks for always sharing something wonderful. ~ Sarah
I have never taken ballet lessons but I do admire people who do. They look so beautiful performing. And those ballet shoes! Sure can make one dream :-)
Stunning! I have always been fascinated with the whole ballet mystique. They make everything look so beautiful when it is extremely hard and I suspect a grueling profession. The pictures you found are amazing. Thanks for sharing these special pink pictures and I hope you have some pink in your life the whole week through!
This a beautiful collection of ballet fotos, my favourites are the ones that hint at the gritty toughness required to pull it off, all the while appearing graceful ... <3!
I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a message. Your comments and emails truly make my day fantastic, thanks for stopping by, see you again soon:)
I wanted to be a ballerina when I was a little girl . . I'm thinking all little girls did, who wouldn't want a Pink tutu and a tiara!
