Summer Sum Summertime

It seems as though summer has just begun!!

We have not had the best weather,
that is if you like to get a tan or be warm and cozy in the summer.

It has been damp and rainy
(I have mushrooms in the grass for cryin out loud)

Some love this temperature,
you can go outside, you don't perspire,
you can do activities and be comfortable
and you don't need as much sun protection.

I myself noticed the other day...hey...girl 'you need a tan'.
Not a deep dark tan,
just a little color
to give me a glow and make me feel,
well, like it's summer.

I guess my first step towards getting this glow
would be to find a friend or two to hang out with.

Maybe we could do some cliff diving ??

Rock Climbing... where is our equipment...safety first ladies

I'm really hot now, think it's time to hit the water....
wait...
let me just grab my tutu
and we can go for a little waterski round the bay

After that refreshing ride around the bay,
anyone up for volleyball????
Ohh, you guys would rather Linedance...cool
....whatever you ladies want.....crank up the tunes

WOW...Dolls you have so much energy you wore me out.

Thanks for spending the day
at the beach and helpin' me get my glow on.

You guys are the best!!

Enjoy your evening!!
Hugs xOxO, Nerina :)

  1. Ah, so fun. Just love all the outfits! Some not so practical... and would leave tan lines in odd places. And it's another cloudy/rainish day here in New England!

  5. Great post! And you have some really wonderful, vintage pictures. Boy, am I glad bathing suit styles have changed. You might as well just wear your clothes for all the sun you'd get in the old 'bathing costumes.' Good luck getting a bit of color in your cheeks!

  12. WE have had a beautiful and dry spring and summer so far. This week has been a HOT one though. We broke all the records. I am still white though. I hardly ever sit out in the sun anymore. I used to do it all the time when I was younger. Thanks for sharing the pictures, they were fun!
