Chilly Tuesday !!
~
The first day back to work after
the Joyous Christmas Festivities!!
We had the
mildest Christmas Day in many years,
no snow, no wind, no jacket !!
~
The temperature has now dropped to
minus double digits and the snow has begun!
There is a cold weather warning in effect
for the next couple of days!!
Bundle up if you have to leave your house!
Think of me at 6:45am while you are still
cozy in your fuzzy slippers,
drinking hot chocolate,
or possibly still under your down duvet
while I am out battling the elements
I totally need to take these days
between Christmas and New Year's off next year!!
~
Have you got
exciting plans to ring in 2010?
~
Thanks for stopping by today!!

Oh my gosh Nerina honey, I will be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your beautiful words, I did have a good Christmas. Wishing you a really fab New Years too.
hugs DJ...I'm thinkin' you need the warmth.
Oh my dear! I think I would have to hibernate forever if I had that sort of weather to deal with. Kudos to you for pushing forward!
ReplyDeleteHugs...Tracy :)
Nerina!
ReplyDeleteStay warm, girl! We are buried in snow here in K.C., and they are saying more on Wed. Brrrr!

Nerina!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot even fathom this. It's cold here, but the sun is shining, and I'm inside with the heat on (I think). The yard men just came and cut the grass across the street, and I awoke to the sound of bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz from the mowers and blowers. ;-)
I will think of you. I see these pictures and am just amazed at the snow. I've never seen snow that deep. I've only seen it a few times in my entire life. Please stay warm and stay well!
Our exciting plans??? To rest! LOL! We aren't going to the party we normally attend because we are both tired and need to play catch up with things and REST. Fuddy duddy? Maybe, but I am a happy fuddy duddy! :-)
XO,
Sheila

Egad! Looks like pure torture to me. As I sit here typing, freezing because it is only 58 degrees outside and about the same in the house. I truly do not know how I lived in Chicago for 10 years. Anyway, like I always say, the snow looks pretty in a picture. It's the battling of it that I have a problem with. I hope you are bundled up and don't have to be out in it for long.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Nerina! I hope the coming year is the best ever for you and yours!
Hugs,
Tamerie
And now I remember why I settled in Southern California. But thank God for Vancouver. Or where would this winter's Olympics be held? And God bless Nerina, for trudging across the tundra. Mile after mile. In the snow. Uphill both ways.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was kind of hoping this would have been a CHILI TUESDAY. With a tasty recipe for a warm bowl of RED HOT. Oh well. Maybe next time?
ReplyDeleteLove ya bunches,
Kurt
Here is to a Year of taking time to notice all the greatness around us each and every day. You are a wonderful person, and that is such a powerful thing to quit your job. Cannot wait to see your creative side overflowing in 2010. Hugs & Kisses, Diane
