An Olde Fashioned Christmas Swap

~
Happy Saturday Friends!!
This exploration into blogging has opened up
a world that I had long forgotten.
I used to love creating with my hands
and had forgotten the joy that it brought me.
Joining swaps has
re-ignighted that flame and I think I am hooked!!
The Christmas season is fast approaching
and I have just completed
an Olde Fashioned Christmas Swap
These are a few of the goodies that
I sent to my swap partner

This was a prim swap and my first attempt at crafting Primitive

I made these adorable bowl filler ornies,
3 large stars, grunged up and embellished
with a bow and bell with a coffee stained tag

An adorable wooden sign

'It's a Wonderful Life' embroidered textile

Some of you might remember my teaser
of the tea dying process,
I used the torn muslin for the base of this banner
and individually created some little ornies

I ended up with this really cute Christmas banner,
it is about 75 inches wide

I received an e-mail from Kaaren
and she received all of her goodies safe and sound

~~~
Lookie what I received in the mail,
a box full of Christmas goodness,
I could not wait to break into
this box of festive tissue paper
Kaaren made me a pretty pillow
that she stamped and then quilted,
the most creative little Santa made
from an old fashioned milk bottle.
A snowman 'Twinkle' with
a rusty star on his belly
as well as a spool turned into a little snowman.
My lighted item was a
metal candle prim pan holder with some pears...so cute.
Don't you just love this snowman made from
a styrofoam ball and crinkle paper...I received two of them.
they are already hanging up for all to see.
Thanks so much for your kind gifts Kaaren,
these were obviously made with care
and they will be part of my
Christmas decorations for years to come.
I hope you are not all worn
out from your Turkey festivities
and Black Friday Shopping!!
Enjoy the day friends !!
Big Hugs, Nerina XoXo
