Love these tongs that I purchased at a thrift shop
The bowl is really pretty and is deep enough for fruit,
hot dishes or anything your little heart desires
Isn't this star fabulous.....it sits in my daughter's room
on top of some magazines,
when you place it over a tea light candle
it lights up the room with stars!!
A small assortment of my silver costume jewelry
that sits in my bathroom
ready to go to work whenever I need it

Nerina, love all your silver goodies, especially that silver star. I too am joining the carpet ride, it will be lots of fun. Happy Silver Sunday...
ReplyDeleteThat star is very cool and unusual!
ReplyDeleteLovely pieces. The star is great. The only thing silver I ever had was a really large (and heavy tray). It did look fabulous, but it was high maintenance..., tarnished fast, and needed polishing more than I was willing to do..., so off it went to where it came from (a Thrift store).
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
that silver looks so cool with the green apples!
ReplyDeletem ^..^
What a fun silver post with all the variety. I have some tongs just like the ones you have. Using them with the bowl of fruit makes a beautiful photo. What fun to have all that silver jewelry to admire in your bath when it isn't adorning you. Great idea! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely Silver Saturday post. I just love looking at everyone's shiny, beautiful silver. I love your bowl filled with green apples, and that star is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI would like to sneek into your bathroom and check out all your jewels! I thought I had a lot of jewels, you got me beat!

I'll bet that star looks great with the candle lighting it! Thanks for your comment on my silver trays post. I will be keeping them as is ~ the designs are just too pretty. I'll have to look for something plainer on my next trip to Goodwill!
ReplyDeleteI love that unique little star. Those tongs would be my favorite, too!
ReplyDeleteI consider myself a winner for having found you.
