Rain....

always seems to happen when we
have something important to do outside!!
Why is that?????
I know we should be thankful...we did not have rain for 23 days and now Mother Nature is making up for it. We do need the rain for the gardens and lawns...and it is much better than the white blanket that will be upon us before we know it. I can't believe that I am even mentioning it...I know...there are many of you that are waiting for the wonderland to arrive...so,
I am happy with rain for now
Monday morning....it's dark....it's wet...
...I had to turn on all of the lights....
I have to get dressed up and go on a journey and
try to keep my hair from going crazy in the rain.

On the bright side, Flowers are so beautiful
when the drops linger and
the color is still vibrant

The sound of the rain is actually quite soothing...
I wish I could take the time today and just enjoy the sound.....

Later today....this will be me.....geez...
~
Enjoy your day today...inspite of the weather
or because of it
~
Warm Hugs xOxO Nerina :)

  1. It hardly ever rains here. I like when it rains at night and is clear for the day. Because it happens so infrequently, when it wakes me up in the night, I have no idea what the noise is. It always takes me a while to figure it out. I guess because I don't here it very often, I forget what it sounds like. I have heard that the rainy season is supposed to be bad this year. We definitely need it. Anyway, I hope the rain you have today isn't too bad and that you are able to stay dry and maybe even enjoy it a little bit!

  2. Hey Nerina. The rains wonderful if you don't have to leave the house but I don't know anyone who wants to drive in it. I've been very thank for the rain we've had this year. It seems that for the last 5 or so years it has been so dry in Florida, we've been under fire watches & water restrictions. This is the first year that I haven't had to spend running the sprinklers. Everything has been really lush and green. My dollar weeds are doing exceptionally well - ha-ha. It was so depressing in the past you ride down the highway and everything looked brown and so so dry. But we've certainly been blessed this year. In Florida it can be storming and the weather changes in 10 minutes.
Wow - I didn't mean to write a boring book.
    Happy Monday...Tracy
